Effective Aug. 9, 2009, a non-refundable $5 per transaction fee will be charged for overnight site rentals. This increase is the result of the continuing decrease in state revenues used to fund state government programs, including state parks. We considered many options and feel this is the least burdensome on guests. In additon, this fee is directly tied to expenses that support overall facility rentals — credit card fees, 800 number fees, and overnight inventory and reservation system vendor fees.
